《Beholder旁觀者》是由Warm Lamp Games制作，Alawar Entertainment發(fā)行的一款獨(dú)立類型的策略冒險(xiǎn)游戲，玩家將扮演一名房東，需要通過(guò)各種各樣的手段查看住戶的房間，想方設(shè)法探尋住戶房間中的秘密。有時(shí)候你還能夠幫助他們或是對(duì)住戶們的私事起到一個(gè)推波助瀾的作用。游戲以黑色幽默般的形式為我們展現(xiàn)了一個(gè)體現(xiàn)各種人性道德的世界。 【游戲評(píng)測(cè)】 背景幾乎以黑白棕等盡是抑郁的顏色為主基調(diào)，處處不充斥著灰暗陰沉：永不晴朗的天空劃分成黑白兩種用以區(qū)分時(shí)間段（或由左上角鐘面顏色判斷白天黑夜）；角色們基本以臉上不同輪廓和高矮胖瘦形態(tài)讓玩家分清這些黑色的短腿小人們誰(shuí)是誰(shuí)（例如拄著拐杖的檔案管理員），也會(huì)貼心地標(biāo)上姓名。 BGM處理得貼切，與畫面契合度極高，每一步都恰好踩在點(diǎn)子上。 放大某個(gè)房間能夠聽到傳來(lái)每個(gè)人不同的說(shuō)話聲——這點(diǎn)極為用心。音效對(duì)細(xì)節(jié)控也是一種享受。例如鐘聲敲響提示玩家半天時(shí)間的流逝、鑰匙轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)的聲音也有模擬、打開房門會(huì)有鑰匙開鎖的咔噠聲……

游戲中玩家需要扮演一位公寓管理員，工作是觀察自己管理的公寓內(nèi)的房客的一舉一動(dòng)，如果他們有需要幫助就需要與之溝通，然后想盡辦法幫助他們。 而主人公也在同時(shí)面臨自己的家庭問(wèn)題：老婆對(duì)目前的生活不太滿意，希望得到更好的生活條件，兒子存在想離開家出去闖蕩的信號(hào)，自己幼小的女兒卻在01這時(shí)候換上了肺病，而治療的費(fèi)用和材料讓主人公難以承受。 在糾結(jié)與困惑時(shí)，在抉擇與決定間，在后悔與慶幸中，迎來(lái)不同的END！

The lords of the city of Waterdeep hire a team of adventurers to investigate an evil coming from beneath the city. The adventurers enter the city's sewer, but the entrance gets blocked by a collapse caused by Xanathar, the eponymous beholder. The team descends further beneath the city, going through Dwarf and Drow clans, to Xanathar's lair, where the final confrontation takes place. Once the eponymous beholder is killed, the player would be treated to a all blue window describing that the beholder was killed and that the adventurers returned to the suce where they were treated as heroes. Nothing else was mentioned in the ending and there were no accompanying graphics. This was changed in the later released Amiga version, which featured an animated ending.
